AR-G Motorsports and ROTEK Racing Will have Edgar Lau fill In for Chris Alliegro in the Mustang GT4 For The Music City Grand Prix.
Napa, CA– July 22, 2022 – Coming off of a podium weekend at Watkins Glen International, AR-G Motorsports and Rotek Racing will continue to campaign the MetaVC Partners Ford Mustang GT4 in Nashville, Tennessee for round 9 & 10 of GT America alongside IndyCar at the Music City Grand Prix.
ARG has had a busy couple months with racing on tracks all across the world. But this up and coming race will be a little different as it will not be on a racetrack, but through the streets of downtown Nashville. The course will be 2.17 miles long with 553 yards of bridge. Edgar Lau will be competing in place of Chris Alliegro in GT America Powered By AWS from August 5-7.
Lau has shown pace and ability to take the Ford Mustang to the podium in the last two race weekends. We look forward to seeing him continue his success as he gets more comfortable in the MetaVC Mustang GT4.
"I am excited for the chance to race at the Music City Grand Prix with the MetaVC Mustang! After a strong weekend at Watkins Glen I have gotten more familiar with the car and to compete on any street course is always an honor. My last race on a street circuit was at the Macau grand prix many years ago so I will be learning from my teammate Robb for this new-to-me track," said Lau, driver.

"We can't get enough of Edgar Lau, so he'll be sitting in for Chris Alliegro in SRO GT America powered by AWS at the Nashville Music City Grand Prix IndyCar race weekend, and we expect great results," continued Makishima.
NTT IndyCar will be on August 5-7. All Indy races are streamed on their website at indycar.com, Peacock, Sirius XM, and IndyCar Radio.
