Practice Laps At Watkins Glen International For GT4 America

July 22,2022 - The ARG team is preparing for this weekend's race at Watkins Glen International Raceway for Pirelli GT4 America. The team faced some hurdles but nothing they couldn't handle. The first round of practice, Billy Johnson set a good benchmark time. Edgar Lau got in the car after for his practice laps and someone spilled oil on the track, leading them to have to deal with a red flag.

For the second session, the clouds started rolling in and it started pouring rain. About 15 minutes later, the rain stopped, and it pushed the session back 10 minutes. The sun came out, Lau got in the ROTEK Mustang GT4, got on the track, and drove the whole session.

“Everything is looking good currently. We are making some minor adjustments to the car with the balance to help with the understeer, and we are hoping to qualify in a pretty good spot tomorrow!” Said Lau.

The SRO Pirelli GT4 America at Watkins Glen will be on July 22-24. All SRO GT4 America races are streamed live on the GTWorld YouTube channel, Twitch (SROMotorsports), and CBS Sports Network.
